BYRRRH Enamelled plate for the Byrrh aperitif, based on cinchona. Created by brothers Simon and Pallade Violet, itinerant fabric and haberdashery merchants in 1860. The letters B.Y.R.R.R.H. are simple letters used as fabric references. The Byrrh brand was registered in 1873. Format: rectangular, flat, with edges and ears Process: stencil. Lettering: white, on a red background. Enamel: JP Brussels. 1941. 48 x 88 cm.
