FONDERIE TURQUET COLAS FAÇADE DE FONTAINE D'APPLIQUE DE COUR D'IMMEUBLE PARISIEN Cast iron, rectilinear form, decorated with foliage scrolls, flanked by large scrolls, the lintel adorned with a cartouche and a frieze of water leaves, the triangular pediment with scrolls and palmette. Removable curved basin with draining grate. Marked "Turquet Colas à Montiers sur Saulx". (Company name between 1876 and 1888). c. 1880-1885. Height. 119 cm; Width. 63 cm; Depth. 44 cm. Recent tap. PROVENANCE. Courtyard of a building on avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris, 8th arrondissement. Remained in the same family since its deposit in 1990.
