L. DELACHANAL POST OFFICE LETTERBOX Yellow enameled cast-iron, in the shape of a roofed kiosk, bearing the inscription "Postes" and "La levée est faite" in capital letters. It opens with a flap concealing the opening and a leaf with three windows displaying the number, day and number of daily lifts. Flanked by a metal plate bearing the inscription "Heures des levées, jours ouvrables, Nearest office". Marked "L. Delachanal", Paris. c. 1900. Height. 60 cm; Width. 34 cm; Depth. 25 cm. Worn enamel, restorations.
