CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN FROM LA CHOCOLATERIE DE ROYAT, PARIS Shaped like a brass-rimmed copper barrel, decorated with a Gaul and three fleurs-de-lis, the pewter tap on a removable gilt-bronze curved base in the form of grapevines. Engraved "Chocolaterie de Royat" mark. c. 1900. Height. 22 cm; Width. 14 cm; Depth. 18 cm. Founded in 1898, after the takeover of a small chocolate factory, this house became "Marquise de Sévigné".
