RELIGIOUS CLOCK Blackened wood, Boulle-style marquetry and brass fillets, the three sides glazed, the curved pediment adorned with fire pots and leafy garlands, the brass dial with Roman numerals supported by a winged figure representing Chronos with the inscription P LE MAIRE PARIS, the movement also signed, resting on a rectangular base. Louis XIV style, 19th century. Dimensions with base: 58.5 x 35 x 18 cm.
