Sèvres porcelain, circular form, covered, decorated with gilded flowers on a Sèvres blue background, marked. In a small straw-covered transport case, stencilled "Présidence de la République Française", numbered "PR 208" and inscribed "Fragile".
The lid bears a label from the Chenue layetier-emballeur company, addressed to "Soeur Marie Gouvernée, Boug de Melgven, 29 Rasporden".
