FLÉAU CANE The hammered silver-plated metal pommel, Malacca rush shaft and metal ferrule. The pommel can be unscrewed to extract three leather rods with brass weights from the shaft, making it an effective weapon. c. 1880-1890. Length. 90 cm. This type of cane was patented in France in 1885.
