POST OFFICE LETTER BOX Cast iron, simulating a small house, opening with a flap surmounted by the inscription "Postes" and with a leaf bearing the inscription "La... levée... est faite", with a window allowing to indicate the number and the day of collection, and "levées par jour", with a window allowing to indicate the number of collections. The front of the flake roof has the inscription "RF" in a cartouche. The lamp base is gadrooned. The side plate indicates "hours of levy, working days, nearest office". Foundry mark in the door "L. Delachanal, Paris, SGDG" and, on the front, "L. Delachanal Paris". c. 1914. 58 x 33 x 22 cm.
