RARE PULLMAN CAR COFFEE POT FROM THE COMPAGNIE DES WAGONS-LITS
Plain silver plated metal, truncated cone shape, the oblique handle in ebony with cut sides, the ovoid hand grip,
the body engraved with the Art Deco monogram "WL" of the Compagnie des Wagons-Lits.

PROVENANCE.
From 1926 onwards, this type of coffee pot was exclusively reserved for Pullmann luxury trains
(Train Bleu, Orient Express). Following the economic crisis of 1929, it was used in the mid-1930s on other
the mid-1930s, it was used on other luxury trains, after the transformation of the 28-seat Pullman cars
28-seat Pullman cars into dining cars with a capacity of more than 40 seats.
