CHRISTOFLE RARE PULLMAN CAR COFFEE POT FROM THE COMPAGNIE DES WAGONS-LITS Plain silver plated metal, truncated cone shape, the oblique handle in ebony with cut sides, the ovoid hand grip, the body engraved with the Art Deco monogram "WL" of the Compagnie des Wagons-Lits. 1928. PROVENANCE. From 1926 onwards, this type of coffee pot was exclusively reserved for Pullmann luxury trains (Train Bleu, Orient Express).
